With Locker still not healthy, Hasselbeck will start again this week

Titans quarterback Jake Locker is still not completely recovered from the Week Four injury to his non-throwing shoulder, so Matt Hasselbeck will get his fourth straight start on Sunday against the Colts.

Titans coach Mike Munchak confirmed today that Hasselbeck is his Week Eight starter.

Munchak also made clear, however, that there’s no quarterback controversy in Tennessee: If Locker were healthy enough to start this week he would, and if Locker is healthy enough to start next week he will.

Hasselbeck has completed 61.5 percent of his passes, averaged 6.0 yards a pass and thrown five touchdowns and four interceptions for a passer rating of 78.2. Locker has completed 63.2 percent of his passes, averaged 7.4 yards a pass and thrown four touchdowns and two interceptions, for a passer rating of 90.2. The Titans are 2-1 with Hasselbeck starting the last three weeks after going 1-3 with Locker starting the first four weeks.
