Milan Lucic won’t tangle with his old buddy Dale Weise on Thursday night.
Weise, who was the subject of Lucic’s verbal sparring after last year’s second-round defeat of Boston, is being held out of the lineup for the second time this season (Weise was dropped from the lineup for last Thursday’s game in Washington as well).
Based on warmups, it looks as though Travis Moen will take the fourth-line winger role instead. Moen’s last game, not coincidentally, was the Washington game in which Weise was parked.
