Ducks forward Patrick Maroon has a sprained MCL and will miss four weeks, the club announced today.

Maroon was hurt Monday in a game against the Sabres when he collided with Buffalo defenseman Josh Gorges.

Maroon, 26, was off to a good start to the season with three assists in his first three games. He had 11 goals and 18 assists in 62 games last season.

Anaheim (3-1-0) plays Friday at home against Minnesota.
