Did Marc Methot actually score the game-winning goal against Toronto last night?

Per the scoresheet and standings, no. But the league did take another look, according to TSN’s Darren Dreger...

NHL is double-checking overhead camera to verify Methot shot in OT was wide and didn’t go through the net as has been suggested.

The Methot non-goal proved critical as Ottawa went on to lose in a shootout, costing it a valuable point in the chase for the final wild card spot in the Eastern Conference.
