Corey Perry capped off an impressive first period for the Anaheim Ducks by capping off a pretty passing play.
The Ducks took a 4-0 lead over the Dallas Stars into the first intermission of Friday’s game. Perry’s goal was Anaheim’s final tally of the opening period, as the Ducks outshot the Stars 19-7.
Perry started the play, blocking a shot and taking the puck up the ice. He dropped it for Ryan Getzlaf, who slid the puck over the Shea Theodore and he set Perry up for the goal on the deflection.
