We’re only a few games into the 2018-19 NBA season and there’s already a lot to talk about.

Blake Griffin drops a career-high 50 points on 76ers
Blake Griffin is feeling himself. The veteran forward unloaded 50 points and had the game-winning layup and-1 as Detroit beat Philadelphia in overtime.
Griffin also tied a career high with five 3-pointers on the night. His 50 points are the 7th most in Pistons history.
The Pistons are now 3-0 for the first time since the 2015-16 season. They’re going to need a lot more MVP-like nights from Griffin if they’re going to stay hot this season.
Could Kevin Love reunite with LABron?
The Cleveland Cavaliers are off to an 0-3 start after losing LeBron James this offseason, and many are speculating Kevin Love could soon be the next big name involved in trade talks.
Tom Bontemps of the Washington Post says the All-Star power forward could be the “first major trade chip to be moved in the non-Jimmy Butler era.”
Love may have signed a four-year, $120 million extension with the Cavs in July, but remember, Blake Griffin was able to pull off a similar deal last summer.
One possible landing spot for K-Love would be in Los Angeles, where he could reunite with LeBron, who is also struggling to get his young team off the ground.
The soonest Love can be traded is January, but it’s entirely possible the Cavs could still turn the season around.
Long live the 1970s
The NBA released its annual NBA roster survey on Wednesday, which shared some interesting tidbits on the league’s 440 players.
Vince Carter and Dirk Nowitzki are the NBA’s only active players born in the 1970s, while 418 players are younger than LeBron James (33).
There are 20 players in the NBA who wear the No. 3, including guards Chris Paul, Dwayne Wade and CJ McCollum, to name a few.
The Chicago Bulls are the least experienced team in the league at only 3.13 NBA years, while the Houston Rockets snag the most-experienced NBA team nod with 7.36 NBA years.
Rondo says #spitgate did not happen
The bad blood between Los Angeles Lakers guard Rajon Rondo and Houston Rockets guard Chris Paul continues.
Just days after the two players received suspensions for their roles in a fourth-quarter brawl where Paul claimed Rondo spit at him prompting a fight, Rondo is shutting down rumors that he deliberately spit at Paul.
“I had a mouthpiece in my mouth and I [was] exasperated because I was about to tell hi to ’get the [expletive] out of here,’” Rondo said. “Everyone wants to believe Chris Paul is a good guy. They don’t know he’s a horrible teammate.”
Rondo received a three-game suspension for the scuffle, while Paul only got two games.
The beef between Rondo and Paul is unlikely to simmer anytime soon. The two teams meet again on Dec. 13 in Houston.
