There's no place like home and Jenna Prandini will be heading to Tokyo.
The eight-time All-American at the University of Oregon finished in second place during the 200m final Saturday, qualifying for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics in the process.
Prandini finished in first place during the semifinals of the 200m with a personal-best time of 21.99 seconds, placing ahead of Allyson Felix by 0.01 seconds.
“I feel really confident about my starts,” Prandini said via the Daily Emerald on Friday. “It’s something that my coach and I have been working on all year and I’ve been doing it really well in practice so to be able to come out here and have it in the meet is exciting.”
Prandini finished third at the Olympic Trials in 2016 at old Hayward Field before finishing tenth at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio.
