After being undrafted during the 2021 NFL Draft, Oregon tight end Hunter Hampmoyer signed with the Los Angeles Chargers as an undrafted free agent.
He's reunited with Justin Herbert, too!
He surprsied many by deciding to enter the NFL Draft rather than play another season in Eugene as the team's presumed starting tight end.
The redshirt senior had a career-high 14 receptions for 161 yards and three touchdowns. He was never a passing option for Oregon until Jacob Breeland suffered a season-ending injury in 2019 which caused Kampmoyer to become the starting tight end.
In 2019, he had five catches for 59 yards and a touchdown.
He originally enrolled in Eugene, Oregon as a defensive end, recording five tackles as a freshman, before transitioning to tight end.
