National Signing Day is just around the corner and the next class of Oregon Ducks will officially begin their journey on Wednesday, December 16.
Head coach Mario Cristobal is on the verge of signing one of the best classes in program history in this 2021 class.
Currently, this 2021 Oregon class is ranked No. 5 in the nation and No. 1 in the Pac-12 conference.
On Friday, Andrew Nemec - recruiting reporter for The Oregonian - reported that one future Duck may be getting cold feet but the feeling is mutual.
Christian Burkhalter is a 6’5”, 230-pound three-star defensive end from Spanish Fort High School in Spanish Fort, Alabama. He received an offer from Oregon back on July 6 and officially committed on July 23.
The latest crystal ball projections have the UCLA Bruins high on Burkhalter’s radar.
The other WDE committed to in this 2021 group is Terrell Tilmon, a three-star prospect from Arlington, Texas. Plus the Ducks, as well as the rest of college football, are still waiting on the nation’s No. 3 overall prospect and No. 2 SDE J.T. Tuimoloua (Sammamish, WA) to make his decision. He placed Oregon in his top 7 back in October.
