Ducks LB Justin Flowe is expected to be out for remainder of season -- report

After watching linebacker Justin Flowe walk out onto the field with his right foot in a walking boot at Ohio State, there are now reports that say Flowe will miss the entirety of the regular season.

Fox Sports college football reporter Bruce Feldman was the first to report that Flowe will be out for the remainder of the regular season.

Ducks head Coach Mario Cristobal was asked to give an update on Flowe’s foot injury on Monday.

"I wish I could say on Flowe what it's gonna be," Cristobal told the media. "It's a pretty significant injury, so we don't know, always hopeful, but it seems to be a little bit longer term than anything else."

Flowe, unfortunately, is no stranger to season-ending injuries.

The former five-star recruit appeared in just one game for the Ducks in 2020 before a torn meniscus sidelined him for the rest of the season.

To start this season in Oregon’s win over Fresno State, Flowe notched a team-high 14 tackles, including five solo tackles. He also had a forced fumble, and a tackle for loss. That performance earned him the Pac-12 Freshman of the Week.

With Flowe out against Ohio State, Oregon freshman Keith Brown started in his place.
