Former Oregon RB Cyrus Habibi-Likio announces top three transfer destinations


The Oregon Ducks backfield will look a tad different in 2021.

The three-headed monster featuring CJ Verdell, Travis Dye and Cyrus Habibi-Likio that Duck fans have witnessed the last three seasons will be missing a head next season.

Cyrus Habibi-Likio announced on January 23 that he was entering the NCAA transfer portal.

In 2020, Habibi-Likio recorded 19 carries for 26 yards and four touchdowns.

On Tuesday, the 6’1”, 215-pound back announced his top three transfer destinations: Wisconsin, Cal and Boise State.

Yes, there is a possibility Habibi-Likio could remain in the Pac-12 conference should he decide to “go home” and play for the Golden Bears. He is from Palo Alto, California. Also to note, former Oregon defensive backs coach Keith Hayward is now at Cal coaching outside linebackers.

Boise State makes sense as well seeing that former Oregon defensive coordinator Andy Avalos is now the head coach for the Broncos.
