The No. 25 Oregon Ducks (4-2) are set to face the No. 10 Iowa State Cyclones (8-3) for this New Years Six bowl game.

Coming off a Pac-12 Championship win over the USC Trojans, the Ducks are looking to cap off another season with a bowl victory. After going 8-1 in Big 12 Conference play, the Cyclones lost to the Oklahoma Sooners in the Big 12 Championship game.

Oregon sophomore quarterback Tyler Shough and Iowa State Cyclones junior quarterback Brock Purdy have played against one another before at the high school level. Both quarterbacks are from the state of Arizona and apparently the games were highly competitive and had some pretty close outcomes.
