Kansas City wide receiver De'Anthony Thomas was placed on injured reserve over the weekend and is out for the season with a leg injury.
Thomas was reportedly stepped on during last Thursday's practice, fracturing his leg in the same place where he fractured his leg at the end of the 2017 season.
Thomas, drafted by Kansas City in 2014, has three receptions for 29 yards and a touchdown this season, but made several big plays on special teams, including a 48-yard punt return, a fumble recovery and forced a fumble.
