Finally the day has arrived where Duck fans get to see the 2020-2021 Oregon men’s basketball team officially begin the new season.
On Wednesday, the Ducks will face the Missouri Tigers at 6:05 p.m. (PT) on FS1 to tip-off this wild season.
Not only will the Ducks have some new faces on the court, but they will do so in some gorgeous new threads.
And these are just the white uniforms. The Ducks have rotated between white and yellow uniforms at home games while sporting green and black on the road.
The uniforms also feature a patch on the left chest reading BLM or Black Lives Matter.
The reigning Pac-12 champs will look to fill the shoes left behind by four-year starting point guard Payton Pritchard, who was selected No. 26 overall by the Boston Celtics in the 2020 NBA Draft last month.
OFFSEASON ROSTER MOVES:
- Francis Okoro entered NCAA transfer portal and transferred to St. Louis
- CJ Walker transferred to Central Florida
- Addison Patterson entered the transfer portal and has landed at Nevada
- Ducks signed “Michigan Mr. Basketball” freshman guard Jalen Terry; freshman guard Gabe Reichle (younger brother of Oregon State’s Zach Reichle); senior transfer Amauri Hardy (from UNLV); sophomore transfer guard Aaron Estrada (from Saint Peter’s); and senior guard/forward LJ Figueroa (from St. John’s).
Oregon was projected in the preseason media poll to finish third in the Pac-12 this season behind UCLA (picked to win with 251 points), followed by Arizona State with 246 and the Ducks at 241.
