Dana Altman should change sports because all he does is hit home runs.
On Wednesday the Oregon Ducks Men's Basketball coach hit another one outta the park landing a big-name transfer for the program.
Rutgers guard Jacob Young announced on his Twitter account that he would be taking his talents to Eugene.
Young averaged 14.1 points, 1.9 rebounds, and 3.4 assists in 28 games for the Scarlet Knights last season.
If the name sounds familiar, it should. Jacobs's older brother is Oregon legend Joseph Young who played for the Ducks from 2013-2015. The elder young averaged 19.8 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 2.9 assists in his two seasons at Oregon.
For Jacob, Oregon offers a chance to take his game to the next level. The program lost a lot of talent this offseason, with players Chris Duarte, Eugene Omoruyi, L.J. Figueroa and Amauri Hardy moving on to the next chapters of their careers.
With many shoes to fill, Young has a chance to make an immediate impact for the Ducks.
We can't wait for Young to step foot in Eugene!
If you're not too familiar with Young's body of work, take the time to get caught up with some highlights from his big game against Northwestern this past season.
