Oregon Ducks Spring Game will not have fans due to recent state orders


After offering public tickets to the event, fans will not be permitted inside Autzen Stadium for the team's annual Spring Game, Saturday, May 1st due to "directives Tuesday from the Governor's Office of the state of Oregon tied to Lane County's move to the designation of Extreme Risk."

The game will be broadcast on Pac-12 Network at 2:00 p.m. PT.

Any claimed tickets will not be valid for entry. 

Two weekends ago, Oregon welcomed fans back to Autzen for the first time since November 2019 allowing them to watch the team's practice and spring scrimmage. During the event, the program announced fans would be allowed at the Spring Game at 15% capacity.

Lane County has seen an increase of coronavirus cases by 30% in the last 14 days per The New York Times with 12 people being hospitalized per day. There have been 59 daily cases on average, or 16 cases per 100,000 people.

Since March 2020, the University of Oregon has been linked to 1,429 cases of COVID-19.
