The Oregon Ducks have seen some speedy wide receivers and running backs through the days in Eugene, Oregon.

De’Anthony Thomas and LaMichael James come to mind immediately. Both were electric on the gridiron as well as at Hayward Field, home of the Oregon Track & Field team.

Now, the Ducks have added some more speed on the offensive side of the ball in 2021 in Von Reames.

“Also I wanna thank the coaching staff at the UO for giving me the opportunity to play at the next level and better myself as a student athlete…”

The 5’7”, 160-pound RB/SB from Reisterstown, Maryland (just outside Baltimore) received a PWO (Preferred Walk-On) from Oregon on December 15, 2020.

Ryan Bay and Ryan Walk were PWO’s who earned starting spots and scholarships in their time at Oregon.

Reames posted a 40-yard dash time of 4.33 and ran a 11.01 100-meter dash in 2019.
