Former Oregon Duck and current Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Kenjon Barner will be making a trip to the Super Bowl this weekend.
Which for Barner, will be the third one of his career.
However, the Buccaneers still haven’t made a decision on if they will active Barner or not.
On Thursday, Tampa Bay head coach Bruce Arians said that Barner has been practicing and will be a “late call” on if he plays on Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs or not.
Barner has been activated since being on the injured reserve list on Jan. 20.
The Buccaneers did not add Barner to the roster in their 31-26 win over the Green Bay Packers in the NFC championship.
Barner was a part of the Super Bowl-winning Philadelphia Eagles team that beat the New England Patriots back in 2018 where he returned three kickoffs for a total of 73 yards.
He was also part of the Patriots when New England beat the Los Angeles Rams back in 2019.
Barner would bring experience to the team if brought back on the active roster, and also would have a chance to add another Super Bowl ring to his list of achievements!
