Top 5 things that we think make Aaron Feld great
Oregon Strength & Conditioning Coach Aaron Feld
On the latest Talkin’ Ducks Podcast, host Jordan Kent is joined by special guest Oregon Strength & Conditioning Coach Aaron Feld.
Feld dished out his favorite moments as an Oregon coach since stepping into the program in January 2018.
Now, we decided to turn the tables and give our favorite moments of Feld.
Seriouslyl, can you name a better mustache in college football, or perhaps outside of sports?
As the players and media showed up for early morning practice at the Hatfield Dowlin complex in Eugene, Oregon, there is one voice that soars above the rest, and that’s Coach Feld’s.
He stands at the top of the stairs that lead down onto the practice fields, give each of the players a high five while yelling ‘good morning!’
Following the greeting, Feld leads the team in pre-practice stretches and through warmups. It is the loudest and most commanding, but also the most caring voice on the field.
An insight on Oregon's Strength & Conditioning program
#FlexFriday has become a weekly staple in Eugene, Oregon. Feld captures video of his players yelling ‘Flex Friday’ while showing off their muscles and progress in the gym.
But it isn’t the just football team, but the community of Eugene who has caught on to the motion.
Feld doesn’t just work out and lift weights to build muscle and be in shape. No, it’s far more than that. It’s an opportunity to give back, help others and donate to great causes.
For example, on Saturday, April 18, which could have been the 2020 Oregon spring game but was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Feld tweeted a video of himself doing bicep curls. The admittance to the spring game has been traditionally a canned food donation, but since there was no spring game, Feld wanted to spread awareness to the fact that you can still donate to Food for Lane County to help those in need.
