During the win, senior guard Aleah Goodman became the 24th player in program history to pass 1,000 career points. She needed 20 points today to pass the threshold and scored 21 on the evening.

After the game, her teammates celebrated her accomplishment.

Here are the key takeaways.

The Good

Aleah Goodman is the team's most important player.

On the evening she passed the quadruple-digit scoring mark, the senior guard scored 21 points on an efficient 7-15 from the floor and another four from the free-throw line. Stepping into a starting role for the first time in her career, Goodman has been a steady veteran presence showing the freshmen the ropes during this rebuilding season.

Thalia Von Oelhoffen is for real.

The five-star freshman has been coming off the bench as she got on campus a few weeks ago, but it's evident she's likely the team's second-best guard behind Aleah Goodman. Friday evening, she scored 13 points on 5-7 from the field including a three-pointer with her heel barely inbounds from the angle.

She isn't just a scorer either. She added four assists and three steals in just 24 minutes.

The Bad

Sloppy third quarter.

The Beavers had just four first-half turnovers but then gave the ball away seven times in the third quarter alone. If not for the Buffaloes poor shooting, it could have been more costly, but Oregon State still won the quarter 12-11.

The Highlight

Von Oelhoffen will be torching Pac-12 defenses for years to come.

The Stat

Oregon State continued the hot shooting making a scorching 52.6% of their three-point attempts against Colorado.

The Quote

"I think you can see it in the way we are playing, the way we are executing – we've been communicating at a completely different level as we are gaining some consistency in our schedule. You're seeing some great performances throughout our roster. Also really excited for Aleah – that's a big milestone for anybody. It's a great accomplishment and well deserved." - Scott Rueck

The Next Game

Oregon State will take on Utah on Sunday, January 31st at 11:00 a.m. PT.
