Head Coach Jonathan Smith and the Oregon State football staff have their type when it comes to defensive backs.
The Beavers have already signed four defensive backs all measuring in at 6-foot-1 or taller in the class of 2020, and the coaching staff looks to continue that trend in 2021.
Oregon State landed its second defensive back pledge of the class Wednesday when 247Sports three-star cornerback Arnez Madison announced his decision on social.
The 6-foot-2, 170-pound cornerback, out of Manual Arts High School (Los Angeles, California), chose the Beavers over Boise State, Central Michigan, Fresno State, Kansas, and Washington.
The California product intends to graduate early in High School and will arrive at Oregon State University in January.
With its latest addition, Oregon State’s 8-man class jumps from No. 103 nationally to No. 96, according to 247Sports.
