Breaking news out of Corvallis, where the women's basketball team has had to cancel Monday night's game against Carroll College.

The school made the announcement late Monday morning just hours before tipoff.

The official press release stated:

Oregon State women's basketball's Monday night contest against Carroll College has been canceled due to COVID-19 issues within the Fighting Saints' program. The Beavers were slated to play Carroll College on Nov. 30 at 6 p.m. The Beavers opened the 2020-21 season with an 88-54 win over Montana Western on Saturday. Taylor Jones led Oregon State with 24 points in the contest.

The Beavers will now look ahead to Friday's Pac-12 opener against Utah.

It is unknown at this time if Oregon State and Carroll College will attempt to reschedule the game, but given the uncertainty around COIVD-19, rescheduling the game seems unlikely.

We will update you as more information is released.
