The Oregon State women’s basketball team won’t be traveling to the Bay Area this upcoming weekend.

The Beavers (3-3, 1-3 Pac-12 play) were originally scheduled to face Cal in Berkeley on Friday afternoon and then head to Palo Alto to face No. 1 ranked Stanford on Sunday.

Unfortunately, due to COVID-19 testing and contact tracing protocols within the program, that weekend road trip is no more.

This will be the fifth game in a row that Oregon State had to postpone due to COVID-related concerns. The Beavers had to postpone play at Washington (12/21), hosting No. 11 UCLA (01/01) and USC (01/03).

The last time the Beavers took the court was a 61-55 loss at Washington State in Pullman, Washington back on Saturday, December 19.

Oregon State currently sits in ninth in the Pac-12 conference with a 3-3 overall record and 1-3 in conference play with wins over Montana-Western, San Francisco and Colorado and losses to Utah, Oregon and Washington State.

The next (hopeful) opportunity for game action will be a road trip to the desert to face Arizona State and Arizona the weekend of January 15-17.
