We are just about two weeks away from the 2020-21 women’s basketball season from tipping off.
The Oregon State Beavers will look to build on top of another successful season finishing fourth in the challenging Pac-12 conference and No. 14 in the nation at the time the season came to an abrupt halt.
Now, the Beavs will be without familiar faces Mikayla Pivec and Destiny Slocum, but return Aleah Goodman, Taylor Jones and a few other big names will be returning from injury.
On Tuesday, the first AP Poll Top-25 rankings were released with Oregon State in familiar territory: inside the top 25.
The Pac-12 conference continues its dominance with four schools ranked inside the Top-10 (No. 2 Stanford, No. 7 Arizona, No. 9 UCLA, and No. 10 Oregon) and Oregon State at No. 18 making five total from the conference.
Here’s how the Top-10 shakes out:
- South Carolina
- Mississippi State
- NC State
The Beavs have been in the gym practicing since October 14 and are still waiting for both a non-conference schedule and conference schedule to be announced with the season beginning on Wednesday, November 25.
