Oregon State's first NCAA Tournament win in 39 years set social media loose


For the first time in 39 years, the Oregon State Beavers men's basketball program has won a game during the NCAA Tournament after Wayne Tinkle's team defeated No. 5 seed Tennessee 70-56.

Considering a good portion of Beaver nation wasn't even alive in 1982, there were a lot of happy Beavers fans online following the victory.

Additionally, multiple outlets made fun of how Ohio State lost to No. 15 Oral Roberts while the Beavers won Friday afternoon.

Next up, the Beavers will play the winner of No. 4 seed Oklahoma State and No. 13 seed Liberty on Sunday, March 21st.
