Portland Timbers road match in Seattle rescheduled for Oct. 22


During the 2020 MLS regular season, rescheduling has become the new normal and again the Portland Timbers schedule was shifted on Friday afternoon.

One day after Portland's match against Colorado was rescheduled to November 4th due to COVID-19 positive tests in the Rapids organization, another match was rescheduled.

Major League Soccer today announced that the Portland Timbers’ road match against Seattle Sounders FC, originally slated to take place on Saturday, October 24th at CenturyLink Field, has been changed to Thursday, October 22nd at 7:30 p.m. PT.

No reason was given for the change but with the change, Seattle will not be playing three games in nine days like originally scheduled. 

Next, Portland will travel south to take on the Los Angeles Galaxy on Wednesday, October 7th at 7:30 p.m. PT.
