Blazers look to slow down high-scoring Bucks
Trail Blazers off to a good start
Through the first 10 games of the season, Portland holds a 7-3 record, which is the best start for the Blazers through the first 10 contests since the 2014-15 season. The Blazers are coming off a 111-81 win over the Timberwolves on Sunday night. Portland will look to continue that momentum and snap their current losing streak to Milwaukee when Portland hosts the Bucks on Tuesday. The Blazers have not beaten the Bucks since February 2nd, 2016.
The high-scoring Bucks
The Bucks enter Tuesday’s game with an 8-1 record after easily taking down the Kings 144-109 on Sunday night. Milwaukee attempted a franchise-record 56 three-pointers against the Kings and made 22 of their attempts. The Bucks currently lead the league in three-point makes with 140. Milwaukee averages 121.9 points per contest which ranks them second in the league in scoring.
Connaughton earning minutes
It will be the first time that Blazers fans can welcome Pat Connaughton back to Portland. Connaughton spent the last three seasons with the Trail Blazers. The 25-year-old is averaging 6.7 points and 4.8 rebounds in the last six games. Connaughton has been a regular rotation player, since Milwaukee beat Minnesota on October 26th when Bucks head coach Mike Budenholzer extended his rotation to 10 players.
The Trail Blazers have listed Nik Stauskas (right quad) as questionable and Maurice Harkless (left knee) as out for Tuesday's game vs. Bucks.
For Milwaukee, D.J. Wilson (right hamstring) is out.
