In Thursday night’s 128-114 win over the Magic, Zach Collins scored 17 points after making all seven of his shots, including two threes and a foul shot. With Collins’ 17 and Seth Curry’s 11, the Trail Blazers bench chimed in with 40 points.
Will Damian Lillard’s heckler motivation carry over?
After a Magic fans was heckling Lillard courtside, he went off and scored 34 points in the second half to finish with 41 points. Lillard now has 17 career 40-point games which ties Clyde Drexler for most in Blazers team history.
Heat on rest
The Heat enter Fridays game 2-2. Miami hasn’t played since Wednesday when the Heat beat the Knicks, 110-87 behind big man Hassan Whitesides’ 22 points and 14 rebounds.
Portland has no injuries to report for the game vs. Miami.
According to Anthony Chang, a reporter for the Miami Herald, the Heat have three players on the injury report for Saturday:
"Derrick Jones Jr., Wayne Ellington and Justise Winslow are probable to play vs. Blazers tomorrow night."
