Damian Lillard still undecided on playing for Team USA in Rio Olympics

Speaking in Taguig City while on tour for Adidas, Damian Lillard indicates that he hasn't made any decision related to playing for Team USA in the upcoming 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio.

The Manila Times quotes Lillard saying, "I have not thought about it yet."

A handful of players including Kevin Durant, Jimmy Butler, and Kevin Love have openly said they will play if invited. It seems Lillard has not reached that point in his decision making process.

Lillard is among the 31 players being considered for Team USA but the number still available and willing to play has diminished considerably with numerous players withdrawing their name from consideration. The latest being James Harden and Russell Westbrook. Those two join an expansive list including Steph Curry, Chris Paul, John Wall, LaMarcus Aldridge, Anthony Davis, and Blake Griffin. Team USA appears to be already thin at the point guard position with only Kyrie Irving, Mike Conley, and Lillard remaining under consideration.

LeBron James and Carmelo Anthony remain undecided and USA Basketball Chairman Jerry Colangelo says they will wait until after the NBA Finals to construct the final roster.

While it is an honor to be selected and play for Team USA, should Blazer fans be worried about the 'extended season' that the Olympics put players through?
