We are throwing it back to May 19, 1990 to an overtime thriller at the Memorial Coliseum in Portland.
It took the entire seven-game series, but the Trail Blazers were victorious in their 1990 NBA Western Conference Semi-Finals Game 7 battle against the San Antonio Spurs.

Terry Porter dropped 36 points to help Portland clinch the series, while Clyde Drexler added 22 points and Jerome Kersey poured in 21. In the losing effort, Terry Cummings led the charge for the Spurs with 27 points.

The Blazers swept the Dallas Mavericks in their best of five-series in the First Round before meeting up with San Antonio.

This was the first playoff meeting between the Trail Blazers and the Spurs.

Portland has finished the 1989-90 regular season with a 59-23 overall record, good for  third out West.
