Before the Portland Trail Blazers and Boston Celtics tip-off at 7:00p.m. tonight on NBC Sports Northwest and on the 'MyTeams' App, Blazers head coach Terry Stotts was asked if he was concerned about the Blazers veterans playing too many minutes following Sunday’s game when CJ McCollum played the entire second half against the Pistons.
“I don’t like playing players over 40 minutes. I think that’s the bar that I try to stay under most of the season. I didn’t necessarily like playing CJ the whole second half against Detroit, but I felt like that was necessary. But, I think NBA players are capable of playing 35 to 37 minutes. I don’t think that’s unreasonable,” Coach Stotts said pregame.
