Trail Blazers play in second night of back-to-back, host Bulls
Portland is coming off a win over the Clippers on Tuesday night and now faces a Chicago Bulls team that has been dealing with injuries all season long and is currently dealing with potential trade prospects to unload forward Nikol Mirotic.
For Wednesday’s contest the Bulls have listed Lauri Markkanen (personal reasons) and Kris Dunn as out, while Mirotic is questionable. The Blazers are not reporting any injuries. Our coverage of the Blazers and Bulls game tips off at 6pm on NBCS Northwest.
Blazers debut “City Edition” uniforms
The Trail Blazers will wear their “City” design for the first time on Wednesday night when Portland host the Bulls. Nike’s City edition jerseys for the Blazers have a black and gray plaid pattern to pay tribute to championship Blazers coach Jack Ramsay. Fans all over social media have been excited about this design and now it’s time to see how the unis will look on the court.
Beavers add another former player to coaching staff
The Oregon State Beavers announced late Tuesday that they have hired former wide receiver James Rodgers to the staff. Rodgers has been named the team’s director of player development.
Rodgers is now 29 years old. He played wide receiver in Corvallis from 2007-11.
Rodgers had spent the past two seasons at Nebraska as director of player development under former Beavs head coach Mike Riley, who is currently OSU’s assistant head coach, as well as, the Beavers tight ends coach.
