Jamal Adams is the ultimate Seattle Seahawks hype man.
The All-Pro safety brings a contagious energy, aggressiveness and juice on the football field. But Sunday, Adams is a spectator, sitting in front of the TV shouting and cheering while watching the Seattle Seahawks take on the Miami Dolphins at Hard Rock Stadium.
Adams sustained a groin injury vs. the Cowboys last Sunday and was ruled out for Week 4. He was visibly upset he couldn’t head to South Beach with his team, but it’s good to see he’s found another way to be with his team.
Here’s some of Adams’ best tweets as the Seahawks-Dolphins is underway.
Adams was locked in with his helmet on. We might need to find him some pants, though. Bruce Irvin had some thoughts.
Adams was cheering on his teammates, including Ryan Neal, who had his second interception for a second-consecutive week.
Oh, don’t worry, Adams had some love for his defense, too.
When David Moore caught a 57-yard pass from Russell Wilson just moments before halftime, Adams was singing his praises.
Adams applauded his QB1, too, and knew when Russ was about to let it fly.
Wilson went for 4 plays, 75 yards and a TD in 21 seconds, finding Travis Homer for a 3-yard touchdown before halftime. Seattle took a 17-9 lead at the end of the first half.
Also, put some respect on Chris Carson's name.
Blitz the Seahawks mascot channeled Adams in the best way possible. We approve.
Then, K.J. Wright started blowing up screens.
Shaquill Griffin picked off Ryan Fitzgerald in the fourth quarter and Adams was here for it.
The Seahawks got the ball back and DK Metcalf went full on beast mode. Chris Carson finished Miami off with his second touchdown on the day.
