Cowboys fans are campaigning for Jerry Jones to sign Earl Thomas

The Seattle Seahawks and Dallas Cowboys are underway in FOX’s NFL game of the week.

Although the Cowboys did make a statement score first in the game, their secondary has been taking a beating from Russell Wilson and company.

Seattle’s pass attack has been evident all game so far, with Wilson connecting with Lockett for two touchdowns in the game.

The Cowboys secondary has been banged up all year, and fans are pretty tired of it at this point and have figured out a solution:

Bring in Earl Thomas.

The All-Pro safety is a Texas native and he’s said in the past that he’d like to play for the Cowboys and fans want to see Jerry Jones make the move to bring him back home.

Thomas was recently released by the Ravens in training camp because of an altercation with a teammate in practice.

The Cowboys have reportedly held discussions about a Thomas signing, but have stayed away for now.

If the Cowboys start the season 1-2, perhaps Jones will hear the cries of the fans and make a move to bring in the veteran safety for some help.

The Seahawks are currently leading the Cowboys 16-15 with :12 left in the second quarter of the Week 3 matchup. Follow us on Twitter and stay locked into NBCS Northwest for all of your latest on the Seahawks.
