Darius Slay’s Wikipedia page edited to claim DK Metcalf as his father

Wikipedia is often a reliable source for fact-checking and researching scholarly material, but it can be edited by anyone at any time.

At least that’s what Philadelphia Eagles cornerback Darius Slay found out Monday night.

When NBCSNW’s Jon Warner was researching a story on Darius Slay following the Seahawks 23-17 victory, he came across one hilarious edit to Slay’s Wikipedia page.

His father is DK Metcalf, wide receiver for the Seattle Seahawks.

Oh yes, the Internet trolls went there, and we've got the receipts.

Honestly, they aren’t wrong. Metcalf owned Slay under the lights. While the Seahawks phenom caught 10 passes for 177 yards on 13 targets, including a 52-yard catch on a throw from Russell Wilson, Slay was unable to keep up.

"It was tough. The plays weren't going my way, but he did a great job of catching the ball," Slay said after the game. "He did everything good as a receiver. I'll say this: This was by far my worst game I ever played in the league. I truly lost almost every 50/50 ball. I was probably an 0-fer. I've never been that. Props to him. He played his butt off today and I've just got to get better."

Or Perhaps Slay could use a talk with his Dad…. Daddy Metcalf that is.

Once again, the Internet is undefeated.
