We already know DK Metcalf is not human.
The Seattle Seahawks wide receiver stands at 6-foot-4, 229 pounds and has a Hulk-like physique. You’d be hard to find a shred of fat on his body.
But if there’s one thing we’ve learned about Metcalf so far, it’s that he can go ape on you at any second. Take Metcalf’s legendary chase down of the NFL’s highest-paid safety, Budda Baker, or the way he tormented and embarrassed three-time Pro Bowler Darius Slay.
The way he stiff-armed New York Giants defensive back James Bradberry to the turf is the stuff of legends.
It’s only fitting that one of the coldest in the game be recognized with an impressive piece of bling. That’s why Metcalf had Zo Frost custom design him a Donkey Kong diamond chain. After all, it only makes sense for someone with the name DK.
It’s on like Donkey Kong. Take a look:
After years of people trying to hand DK nicknames like Wolverine, Megatron, the Mandalorian, and Decaf Metcalf, it appears the Seahawks phenom would prefer to embrace the nickname Donkey Kong. The Nintendo character represents power, strength and is an unstoppable force, similar to Metcalf himself.
The 22-year-old continues to lead the NFL with 1,119 receiving yards through Seattle’s 12 games. He also has 63 catches (on 98 targets), good for 17.8 yards per catch and 93.3 yards per game. Donkey Kong would approve.
