Gift giving is a Christmas transition that spans many different households around the world.

Essentially, Christmas is really about doing a little bit of extra work for someone special.

And Seahawks wide receiver D.K. Metcalf was able to give something special to a close friend's son.

On Sunday, former Seahawks receiver Nate Burleson tweeted out a video of his son, Nehemiah, receiving a special signed jersey from his favorite NFL player.

If you need a hint on who that it is, it’s Metcalf.

Burleson has been a big fan of Metcalf ever since he was drafted by the Seahawks last year, even being as shocked as many people on how Metcalf landed all the way into the second round.

Now, Metcalf and Burleson seem to be close friends with one another and have shown each other love over the past two years. So much so Metcalf had to give his son a special gift for Christmas.

Christmas is the holiday about giving back, and Metcalf did that just.

Burleson's son is for sure going to remember this particular Christmas for a very long time.
