Sunday will be a battle for the top of the NFC West between the Seattle Seahawks (10-4) and the Los Angeles Rams (9-5) at Lumen Field in Seattle, Washington.
The Seahawks are currently a 1.5-point favorite against the Rams, odds provided by our partner PointsBet, with an implied point total of 47.5 points.
Seattle is coming off of a close 20-15 win against the Washington Football Team on Sunday. Quarterback Russell Wilson did not play up to his normal standards, passing for just 121 yards with one touchdown and an interception. The running duo of Chris Carson and Carlos Hyde combined for 118 yards total on the day.
The defense continued to show out again this week, having two interceptions by the secondary and keeping the offense from scoring more than 20 points on Sunday.
The Seahawks also clinched a playoff spot for the ninth time in 11 seasons under Pete Carroll and general manager John Schneider.
For the Rams, they suffered a humiliating 23-20 loss to the New York Jets. They have officially given them their first win of the season.
With that loss last Sunday, the Rams have fallen a game back to Seattle who now sit atop the NFC West. If the Rams lose on Sunday, the Seahawks will officially take the division.
In regards to injuries, the Rams will be without running back Cam Akers, who suffered a high-ankle sprain in the loss to the Jets. For the Seahawks, almost every player on the roster is back and healthy, they will also be seeing the return of the wide receiver Josh Gordon on Sunday.
The Rams defeated the Seahawks in November 23-16 where Russell Wilson was held without a touchdown pass.
