The Seahawks (5-1) are going to be extremely shorthanded on Sunday vs. the 49ers (4-3).
Here's Seattle's grim list of inactives:
-- S Jamal Adams
-- RB Chris Carson
-- RB Carlos Hyde
-- CB Shaquill Griffin
-- DB Ugo Amadi
-- G Mike Iupati
-- DE Benson Mayowa
-- Seattle's secondary is absolutely decimated by injuries. Quinton Dunbar and Quandre Diggs are the only healthy starters. Linden Stephens, Damarious Randall and Tre Flowers should all play in the absence of Griffin and Amadi.
-- Travis Homer (knee) is active, making him and DeeJay Dallas the only two healthy running backs on Sunday for Seattle.
-- Jordan Simmons will start at left guard in place of Iupati. He's been stellar this season.
-- Mayowa being out is a huge hit for Seattle's already thin pass rush. Alton Robinson and Damontre Moore are going to be busy. We may also see Stephen Sullivan get some work, which is remarkable given it's only been a few weeks since he pivoted from tight end to defensive end. Desperate times call for desperate measures, and the Seahawks are indeed in desperate times along the defensive line.
-- D.J. Reed and Colby Parkinson will also make their Seahawks debuts on Sunday as both players were activated off of NFI on Saturday.
