Jamal Adams threatens to delete Quandre Diggs' number, unfollow him on social media

The Seahawks defense is looking for a bounce back performance in Week 3 after allowing 464 yards and 30 points to the Patriots last Sunday. That won't be easy with the Cowboys coming to town. Dak Prescott, Ezekiel Elliott, Amari Cooper, Michael Gallup and CeeDee Lamb highlight one of the most prolific offenses in football.

The losses of Marquise Blair and Bruce Irvin to ACL tears will only add to the challenge of limiting Dallas' offense. The good news is that Quandre Diggs will be back in the lineup. Seattle's starting free safety was ejected in the first quarter of the Patriots game for a helmet-to-helmet hit against N'Keal Harry.

There was nothing malicious about the hit, and Diggs made sure to express that to Harry after the game. Still, his disqualification was the right call, and his absence put the Seahawks secondary in a bind for the final three quarters.

Jamal Adams warned Diggs that there will be serious consequences if he gets ejected again.

"I told Diggs, I said if he gets ejected again, I'm going to delete his number and unfollow him off Instagram and Twitter," Adams joked with reporters on Thursday. "If he leaves us out there to dry again we're going to have some problems."

Sunday's game has the makings of a shootout with two high-scoring offenses going head-to-head. The over/under is set at 56.5, the highest total of any game in Week 3. Seattle's defense, of course, is hoping that Diggs' presence might help the group take a much-needed step forward against the Cowboys.

"I can tell you he's itching to get back out there," Adams said of Diggs.
