Marshawn Lynch takes the ice with Akim Aliu under alias ‘Shawn Gretzsky’

Marshawn Lynch didn’t have to travel to the Frozen Tundra to help the Seattle Seahawks this season, but that doesn’t mean Beast Mode isn’t doing some damage on ice.

In a series of videos shared to Instagram Wednesday, the legendary running back joined pro Akim Aliu for some ice hockey. While getting suited up to take the rink, Marshawn says into the camera “what’s his name? Wayne Gretzky. You heard that nickname before. I’m Shawn Gretzky. You know what I’m talking about.”

Lynch put on a Colorado Avalanche practice jersey and of course, things got hilarious.

“This a whole different animal bro,” Lynch said. “Ooh s***. What was ***** saying, Katt Williams. ******just going to be sliding around the ice with the gloves on.”

Honestly, Lynch didn’t do too bad for potentially his first time on ice. We hear the Seattle Kraken will lbe looking for a few players in the coming months. Why not un-retire for the third time and take your talents to the NHL?

“Y’all can’t see me on this frozen wata either,” Lynch said in a post on Twitter. “You already know I’m from that IceCity.”

Hey, worst case scenario Marshawn can always recreate his iconic injury cart joyride at Cal with a Zamboni.
