The tension between the Seattle Seahawks and Russell Wilson is starting to get really, really interesting.
After the shockwave of Wilson airing out his frustrations to the world, a report came out on Wednesday that the Seahawks were ‘unhappy’ with how their franchise quarterback went so public with everything.
Now, reports have been made that the Seahawks are taking any and all calls for Wilson in a trade.
ESPN’s Dianna Russini joined the Pat McAfee show and said that calls have been made on both sides to see if there is anything out there.
Russini later clarified that the Seahawks are not “shopping” Wilson, but the calls are being answered.
With only a few weeks left before the new NFL league year is set to begin, it seems things are heating up in Seattle when most thought it might just pass as time moves forward.
The likelihood that the Seahawks make a move to ship Wilson out this season is unlikely, but the next season for the Seahawks might be a different story if things aren’t fixed soon.
