Former Seattle Seahawks Safety Earl Thomas is time in Baltimore has come to a short and abrupt end.
The Ravens parted ways with the seven-time Pro Bowler two days after an on-field altercation with teammate Chuck Clark.
A source told ESPN's Adam Schefter that Thomas punched Clark during Friday's practice.
After Thomas got cut from the Ravens, he received some support from former teammates and legion of boom partner Richard Sherman.
Sherman said he had nothing but respect for Thomas, as he shared his message to his former teammate on his Twitter page.
The Ravens are expected to try to void his $10 million guaranteed salary this season. It is expected the safety will file a grievance.
It is rumored that the Dallas Cowboys are the leading contender to sign Thomas, sources told Schefter.
