For those expecting Russell Wilson to be Mr. Unlimited for Halloween this year, I'm sorry to disappoint. (However, you can argue he's Mr. Unlimited every day.)
But, that doesn't mean Wilson blew off Halloween. The opposite, in fact, happened. He and his wife Ciara put so much effort into the holiday that they recreated a music video.
The power couple dressed as Busta Rhymes and Janet Jackson and recreated the "What's It Gonna Be?!" music video from 1998, directed by legendary music video director Hype Williams.
The video Wilson tweeted is intercut with the music video itself and honestly, Wilson and Ciara killed it, as they always do.
The parents weren't the only ones in the family that got in on the Halloween fun. Sienna Princess dressed up as Maleficent, Future Jr. dawned the Carnage costume and Win Harrison was a puppy.
"Ciara and I had a little fun -- me dressing up as Jay and Ciara dressing up as Beyonce," Wilson said last year. "We just wanted to have a little fun and play a little respect to Jay-Z and Beyonce and then also we had the Obamas in the background so shoutout to them, too. It was a good time. Ciara killed it. I did my best. That was pretty cool."
Jay-Z and Beyonce even reached out to share their approval and appreciation of the costume.
"Yeah we heard a little something, yeah. They loved it," Wilson said. "They were cracking up and just told us it was the perfect outfit, the perfect look."
Now, the couple has another year to come up with another iconic Halloween costume!
