Seahawks’ are bringing back TE Luke Willson to practice squad

It is never a bad idea to have too many players at one position, right?

The Seattle Seahawks at the moment have four tight ends on the active roster at the moment, and they will be adding a familiar face to the practice squad.

Per ESPN’s Brady Henderson, Seattle is intending to bring back Luke Wilson tp the practice squad.

He was let go by the team back in November.

On Tuesday, Seattle released DeMarkus Acy and Myles Adams from the practice squad. This left two spots open, which Wilson filled in one of them.

Wilson signed with the Baltimore Ravens after he was cut, only appearing in three games and catching just one pass for 12 yards against the Dallas Cowboys.

His playing time will most likely be limited here in Seattle once again, as most of the tight ends on the roster are fairly healthy, including Greg Olsen.

But as the playoffs come around here, anything can happen.

Wilson has been a fan favorite in Seattle for some time now. Also, if he clears COVID protocols, it looks like Techno Thursdays could be making its way back!
