Seattle Seahawks football is officially back and quarterback Russell Wilson is cooking with fire in the first half.
Wilson has a history of not throwing the ball as much in the first half, but that is not the case against the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday.
Wilson ended the first half going 14-for-15 on the field for 106 yards and two passing touchdowns to running back Chris Carson.
Wilson also leads the Seahawks in rushing with two carries for 30 yards, which also helped him surpass the 4,000 rushing yard mark in his career.
He is the fifth quarterback in NFL history to reach the milestone.
The Seahawks lead the Falcons 14-12 heading into the second half.
Wilson and the Seahawks offense will start with the ball in the third quarter. We will see if the offense will continue with Wilson leading the charge through the air.
