Seahawks QB Russell Wilson has signed a multi-year deal with Fanatics Inc., a global leader for licensed sports merchandise and memorabilia.
The deal gives the company exclusive rights to be the sole distributor of memorabilia and collectibles around Wilson. Whether it’s signed helmets, footballs, photos, or game-used items, Fanatics now has it all from Wilson.
New Wilson memorabilia will be created for him as he enters his 10th NFL season.
“Fanatics is at the top of the game for memorabilia and collectibles, and I can’t think of a better partner in this area,” said Wilson. “I know Fanatics will provide my fans with the best assortment of autographed collectibles, merchandise, and game-used equipment.”
Wilson joins a Fanatics roster already including former Oregon Duck Sabrina Ionescu, reigning Super Bowl champion Tom Brady, recent No. 1 pick Trevor Lawrence and many more.
Sports memorabilia hasn’t been more popular, and it’s only right Wilson looks to cash in while he can.
“Russell Wilson is one of the NFL’s most exciting players, but more importantly is one of the great ambassadors for the game and across the sports world overall,” said Fanatics executive vice president Victor Shaffer. “Throughout all stops in his football career Russell has developed great relationships with his fans, and we’re thrilled to begin this partnership and find new, innovative ways to bring them closer to him.”
The eight-time pro bowler was seventh in NFL jersey sales from Mar. 4, 2020 to Feb. 28, 2021.
