One Seahawks’ main free-agent addition hasn’t made his season debut yet.
And it looks like his debut will most likely not happen altogether.
Wide receiver Phillip Dorsett has been dealing with a foot injury all season long since he was brought to the team in March.
With the playoffs only a few weeks away, Dorsett is still trying to heal from that injury.
On Wednesday, head coach Pete Carroll expressed doubt that Dorsett would not be making a return to the field.
Dorsett was on the 53-man roster at the beginning of the season but was moved to injured reserve ahead of Week 3.
One week after that, he underwent foot surgery to fix the issues he was dealing with.
Despite being out of a boot last week, Dorsett still needs time to get back to normal and the season is essentially almost over.
After signing just a one-year deal with Seattle this year, Dorsett will most likely be a free agent once this season concludes.
