The Seattle Seahawks first of three picks in this year's NFL draft are officially in.
In the second round of the 2021 NFL Draft, Seattle selects D'Wayne Eskridge with the 56th overall pick out of Western Michigan University. The Seahawks officially have their No. 3 receiver.
The 5’9," 190-pound receiver ran a 4.40, 40-yard dash at his pro day after recording 2,000+ receiving yards during his career at Western Michigan. Eskridge finished his career with the Broncos with 121 catches for 2,244 yards and 15 touchdowns over five years.
And as it appears, it was love at first sight for both Seattle and Eskridge.
As expected, media, his former team, and Seahawks fans showed some love for the speedy wideout who will soon be catching touchdown passes for Russell Wilson.
