This isn't the start Seattle hoped for.
During the Seahawks Week 13 game vs. the New York Giants, wide receiver Tyler Lockett suffered a head injury after he lowered his head into a Giants defender’s knee after a short catch in the first quarter.
After the hit, Lockett walked off the field under his own power and went straight into the blue observation tent behind the bench to be evaluated for a concussion.
Moments later, the team announced Lockett was questionable to return. NBCSNW Seahawks Insider Joe Fann said Lockett “appears to be OK,” and rejoined his team on the bench.
Seahawks fans immediately sent their well-wishes to Lockett following the injury.
The FOX broadcast announced Lockett is "cleared to return." Lockett had three catches for 36 yards prior to leaving the game. The Seahawks hold a 3-0 lead over the Giants at the end of the first quarter.
